Alix Bliss

Alix Bliss

Registered Osteopath

Alix qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2020. She brings a rehabilitation-led approach to treatment — particularly strong on chronic pain that hasn't responded to other care, where unpicking the bigger picture matters as much as the hands-on work.

Lucy graduated from the prestigious European School of Osteopathy in 2023. She approaches the body as one integrated system — assessing posture, breathing patterns and movement as a whole rather than focusing only on the painful spot.

How we work

What to expect from your first visit.

1. We listen first. Your first session begins with a thorough conversation about your pain, your history and your goals. We need to understand the full picture before we touch anything.

2. A proper assessment. We'll watch how you move, test specific joints and tissues, and check for the patterns that experience tells us drive the kind of pain you're describing.

3. Hands-on treatment. Where appropriate, we'll begin treatment in the same session — using soft-tissue techniques, joint articulation, mobilisation and gentle manipulation, all explained as we go.

4. A plan you can stick to. You'll leave with a clear sense of what's driving the pain, what's realistic to expect, and what you can do between sessions to help.

First sessions take around 45-60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes. We never recommend a course of treatment unless we genuinely believe you need it.
